about.
what we do
We provide at-risk youth and underserved communities with music, dance, and storytelling workshops that promote mindfulness, peace, unity, harmony, and understanding among diverse cultures in an effort to reduce bullying, racism, hate, crime, radicalism, and violence.
We raise funds from public and private donors and use this funding solely for the purposes of providing our free-of-charge educational activities to schools and centers as well as to professionals and organizations that serve low-income families.
Other schools or communities that do not serve mostly low-income families, and have resources, are expected to provide some or whole of the cost of artists-educators fees.
Our ongoing plan is to provide training for emerging artists to learn how to carry on such work in other locations around the world.

My favorite part [of the concert] was when they invited us to try and dance.
8 year old audience member at A Place Called Home.
Inspired deep and meaningful performance. Elements that would normally be at odds had come together to create something beautiful. After the event, I felt a refreshed sense of community and humanity.
